Meme taken from Thursday Dating Profiles.
1. You must like to do the same things I do and is willing to try new things.
*leaves profile page*
2. I like to see people being happy and strongly believe there is more pleasure in giving than in receiving.
Where did you get that from? A book?
3. I need a big mind, a bright heart, a good companion.
Go buy a dog.
4. I can accept what is and especially the fear of God, so watch it.
Bossy much?
5. Well I’ve decided to change my profile to things I believe in.
And why was it not set to things you believe in in the first place?
6. I have my own body parts, what you see is what you get.
Good for you? No wonder you’re still single.
7. I am not perfect and have my less good qualities as everyone else.
Blah, blah, blah. This is something that doesn’t need to be said, as everyone already knows this about everything else. Therefore, why are you telling me something that I already know? You just wasted the energy to type that and you wasted my time in having me read that…
8. Affectionate, Adventurous, Ambitious, Caring, Cautious, Chaotic, Considerate, Different, Disorganised, Generous, Kind, Loving, Loyal, Reliable, Romantic, Sensitive, Sensual, Sentimental, Sexy, Sharp, Smart.
You forgot a few: Boring, annoying, aggravating, same old, player, single.
9. I’m so different and rainbow colorful as awesome gemstone – you will be still amazed for long years… I’m curious in mysteries of the Universe, exploring the world and myself as miracle.
Are you trying to impress me or something? If so, you’re failing.
10. I’m ready for long-distance relationship at first time for meeting in real life.
Goodbye.

Some of those lines don’t even make sense to me. I’m sort of working on a post about the LOLs of online dating that I’ve seen from a nonparticipant’s point of view. This shall add to my list of LOLs.
I like your responses to each of those answers. Definitely the correct responses. π People are sooooo boring these days sometimes. Like, why don’t people write, “I like x, y, and z, and really would love to try a, b, and c” more often? Durr…

I really like your take. (They are all real.) Thanks for playing!

@Bud Weiser, Thank you! & you’re welcome. π

Love the blog entries! Keep it up π

@DAKOTA, Thank you!

I love your first answer. :P! Leaves profile page :O! I would have wrote something more horrible. D:
The rest of the answers are hilarious :P! It is like what I would have written :O! Everything the singles wrote are lame. :/. For reals. If they mean what they say there, then they would have not been single already! Especially number 8 :P!

I don’t talk to Zoe that much, or read the blogs on there, or Tiff’s. I like Georgina’s blogs and I also like Georgina, because she makes conversation with you. π
I love the Lightbox plug-in too! It’s so useful! Especially on Portfolio sites.
I didn’t really understand the blog, but this did make me giggle:
‘6. I have my own body parts, what you see is what you get.
Good for you? No wonder youβre still single.’
Sorry for the late reply by the way!
Georgina
It’s a bit ridiculous how people write these kinds of things, or even if they don’t, it’s something that remains unsaid but you can tell there are some people who look at things so superficially…
I don’t know why people write a complete list of things that they want their dating partner to be like. You don’t have to like exactly the same things to get along with someone or to even be able to date them. People need to give others a chance when it comes to dating… they can’t be THIS picky. X_X
I feel that even though I was brought up as a Catholic, that is totally not what I want to continue practicing. I just feel like I don’t really belong in my religion and that I don’t believe what I’m really “expect” to believe. I know my parents brought me up that way. When I get older… and if I have children, I think I’ll be giving them the choice in religion and what religion they want to practice.
I like saving things online! But usually I have a copy on paper first… so both work for me fine. Since I use my websites a great deal, I think it makes sense for me to publish a lot of that stuff like goals and to-do lists online.
Oh I might have; I’ve told a lot of people about my licence. XD
Yeah I do own the Ben Jorgensen fanlisting. XD I think it comes up on the first or second page of Google. I don’t know if he saw, but he’s seen my Tumblr that’s dedicated to him. π
You’re welcome. π Congratulations on the 100!

haha these seem like typical dating profile stuff. I think a lot of people want to find someone fast, so they try to put EVERYTHING about them in a few lines. I don’t think they could that. Finding love isn’t that simple, but i guess first impressions are everything. I liked your responses to them. You are right, I think some of them are lame. Like when they list everything they like.. it’s like why don’t you have a gf or bf yet? and haha i don’t get how people can have a committed relationship the first time they meet.
I plan stuff last minute. haha Like the day before, or an hour before i’ll text my friends “lets go see a movie” haha unless I really want to do something I’ll plan it further in advance. but like your cousin, my friend plans everything in advance, I get tired of it.
I always though you needed them.. Do you need a high school diploma for community college?

LOL this is a sponsored blog ignore it. I’ll blog tomorrow. π
I think dating profiles are lame. What if you meet a weirdo stalker or something?

Wow. People honestly wrote those things on their dating profiles? Just to reiterate: no wonder they are single! I love how the person in number eight alphabetized their supposed traits.
