I know I already said this, but I’m explaining why I changed the theme.
It’s plain. I just want it plain for now.
I’ll probably stay “gone” until Friday. I even’t written #25. 🙁
Ugh.
This theme is alright, for now. I just feel blank and bored – bored with blogging, that is. I feel blank because I feel like I’m boring. I don’t know how to explain it. I’ll return comments as I can, but it may take a while.
I will continue to return comments as I get them.
Visitor content or whatever you wish to call this mess is located here.
Until then, I’ll blog again later, in a while, tomorrow, next week – I don’t know right now.
I just feel groggy.
There are links at the footer. Enjoy. The header image is of Todd, obviously.
My about page is all screwed up. /sad /oy /cry

@Jayy, The only bad thing about taking breaks is that I cannot step away for long – blogging has become such a regular habit to me; I just need to get back into the blogging routine I was on! 😛
Christine
I like the plain theme! I go through the same phases with my blogging. I also blog for work so sometimes when it comes time to write about ME I just don’t want to. I do hope to see some blogs from you soon. Sometimes we all just need a break.
Nugget
I understand you when you say that you’re feeling blank. There are days when I’m too lazy to blog, and there are other days when I just don’t want to blog because the light bulb in my head isn’t on.
I kind of like this theme. Simple themes in my opinion are nice. I could never make one myself because I know I’ll add in something that’s complicated.
Liz
@Nugget,
I tend to change my themes often, depending on my mood and whatnot. Like right now, I’m feeling kind of dark. When I had the Bueno WooThemes.com theme, I kept going back and forth with the colors, and people kept thinking that it was a color-changing theme that changed on each visit. 😛
Yeah, I’m going to just blog whenever I feel like it/want to. ^^

There was a cat theme the first time I read this blog… (or was it a dog…? nah, i’m pretty sure it was a cat..)
Lol. Crazyness aside…
Have you deleted the icon contest? I know your giveaway just ended (congrats to Lily)… And my icon contest is in the last day or so of voting.. until I write my next post congratulating the winners 🙂
aww, i try commenting on everything. I guess I’ll try to remember not to for you 😛 but yes, I hate people who do all this extra hardwork just to try and get a hit or two. It’s fake, and stupid. MOVE ON.
i hope everything’s ok with you otherwise! Or that you at least get happy soonish 🙂 Until then, I shall bug you constnantly on twitter 🙂 har har har. I Art Evil.
Joy
Yeah, I get like that sometimes too. Like there’s nothing worth blogging about.
I love minimalistic web design. sometimes there can be a little too much going on.
Jayy
sometimes I like just a plain theme. I agree, it does seem clean.
and that happens to me. I hate when I have zero inspiration to make a layout. Nothing seems to be just right =/
Everyone needs a break now and then. If blogging isn’t fun for you, then you probably shouldn’t be doing it. Take a step back. Which is what you’re doing.

@Erin Nicole, Wait… What were you mad about? I can’t remember what I’d written. 🙁
I try to focus on the future. ^^
Haha, I found a set of ghost smilies; I’ll be keeping a few of these animated ones – especially those of /abu and /fish! 😛 But there will be a bigger variety and/or just … different smilies. :3
Liz
@Amy, Yeah, I’m not too big on having simple-ish themes for too long… Sometimes it’s okay, but right now I don’t want simple.
Liz
@emma, I wasn’t saying I dislike plain themes; I’m just not feeling the plainness right now, but I don’t know what else to go with.
emma
plain themes are the only ones i like to make personally! i feel like they are clean and just nice and simple.
Amy
For a long time I’ve been fond of simple themes. I find this one pretty. 🙂
On the other hand, when I create a simple theme, it won’t stay as the theme for my blog for over a week. :/
Erin Nicole
I’m sorry that you feel so bad. I hope you feel better soon.
Well, don’t focus on the past, focus on the future. 🙂
Yeah, I’m so excited. 😀
Yeah, I know, I was so pissed. I think I have finally put it behind me though. 😀
I’m not anymore. 😛
Yeah, they do, but hey, I like all of your smilies. 😀
oh no! KILL THE BUG!
Tina
Aww, I think you’ll be bit by the blog-bug sooner or later. Just you wait, I’m sure you’ll feel a lot better soon. It’s quite refreshing to start over with a new theme, I feel. 🙂
I use the same template. It’s not that plain! 🙁 depressed
Liz
@Tina, I don’t mean that it’s so plain or anything; I just don’t feel like using a plain theme right now but I was so tired of my old one, you know?
Sydney
I only ever get bored with blogging when I feel that my blogs are hitting a dry spell, and that I’m running out of a) inspiration, b) interesting events that spark said inspiration, and c) necessary sarcasm that fuels the “humor” in my blogs to make them sound more or less interesting to read. If I’m lacking those three variables, I skip a day of blogging. I try not to force myself to blog, and only every blog when I feel that I have something to blog about. It’s a very annoying thing, but in the end it’s necessary.
I do hope you come back soon. <3 I understand that whatever is also going home in your home life might effect your wanting to write about anything at all, which is absolutely no big deal. I wish you good luck, and hopefully you'll be back some time soon. :3

@Sydney, I think I blogged to often last month. I mean, I was pretty much at my mom’s a lot, and I had a lot to blog about, and I just wanted to blog a lot. I think I got overwhelmed with all of the blogging, and I just got into that habit. :/
Thank you. 🙂 <3
Clarisse
I like plain themes, especially on blogs, since the main focus should be the content. 🙂
I honestly don’t find you boring, but, if you don’t feel like blogging, you don’t need to blog. 🙂 Blog when you feel like it. 🙂
I just recently fixed my about page, as it no longer seemed to make sense to me. 😐
Kelsey
There’s nothing wrong with a blank, plain theme. I personally find them suitable for personal blogging; it fits more! Some people go out and have Flash, illustrations all over the place and gawd knows what else; unless it was a portfolio, it would be a little more understandable. I like this theme. /music
I sometimes get bored of blogging but what can you do? That’s why I try not to blog so often; I feel like I’d run out of things to talk about quicker if I blogged any more often. I have a lot of idea topics but I never really get around to them. Blogging ends up feeling like a chore rather than a hobby so I disappear for a day. Or two.
Liz
@Kelsey, I don’t always enjoy plain themes; I just don’t know what else to use/have as a theme. Blah.
I think I did get a little too blog-gy last month because I was able to. I’m not used to being able to blog a lot, and I blogged about a lot of things. Ugh.
Next time I will know not to blog as much, you know?
