I have been posting drafts. This isn’t one, but my last two or three posts have been posts I wrote over a month ago. If you haven’t noticed, I’m not a big fan of returning comments and leaving “day old posts” (as I like to call them) up when I can simply update. The draft idea came from a post Stephanie wrote. I kind of like the idea because I can update my blog by simply logging onto the dashboard from my phone and hit “Publish”. That is the main reason I have not been returning comments much.
Anyway, random thought? I have this icky hand sanitizer taste in my mouth. π
I’m slowly catching up on comments. β I left off here.

I write a lot of drafts for posts when I feel inspired to do so. But then..I never publish them, because “the moment has passed”, and the things I wrote seem silly later on. Hmm.

I tend to write blogs in batches, and then publish them in intervals. I find that easier than trying to find something to say randomly – you are right though, tends to make it difficult to catch up with commenters, I can’t do that on my phone without waiting a million years for my blackberry internet to load.
I enjoy commenting on other peoples blogs though, I enjoy keeping up a banter with other bloggers and I often fail at responding to comments on my own site.

Haha, I’ve been thinking about making my blog a blog-only thing but I was making all that stuff before I even got into blogging so it’s kind of hard to quit. Even if no one uses any content I like making it. π
That draft thing is a good idea. It saves a lot of time. I do it on Tumblr a lot. I have a blog challenge going and I’ve already finished it, even though only half of it’s posted. I’ve never done it for proper blogs though, I always end up finding something to write about. π
Haha, I hate the taste of hand sanitiser. I always forget about it when I eat something, then it goes in my mouth. XP

So you write all your post and whenever you want to publish them you hit publish? That is a good idea. Sometimes I write post that never get published because they are too personal or I don’t want to remember it the next day and just need to rant. That seems like a good idea!
I am glad I haven’t met the right guy, to be honest. I believe high school shouldn’t be the time to find your “soul mate” or the guy to marry. I believe people should experience the world.

I don’t write posts in advance. Sometimes I do write them a day in advance especially if I think I’m going to be busy. Most of the time I do have something to write about so I don’t bother writing posts in advance. Since I got WordPress I was wondering if I should get WordPress to automatically post things should I ever be on a holiday or anything like that. π
I think returning comments for most people feels like a chore. I moderate all my comments so that I can approve them as I return them. I hate seeing a big number so I try to do them all quickly!
Keeks is half Pomeranian half Maltese terrier. :3
I used to be crummy at making plans but that’s changed, I guess. It sucks when things always come up and get in your way. I’m glad my mum’s working otherwise she’d really bother the hell out of me. O_o I hate changing plans as well, adjusting to what is going on…
I know that the farther east you go in my city, the more expensive things get. I think the houses are particularly expensive up north. It’s funny though, I live in an area that isn’t that expensive. π

Don’t worry about returning comments. I haven’t been returning them for a while. Lack of internet then getting sick. =(
I used abbr title, you can look that up on google, since I have no idea how to get those html tags through wordpress haha. Usually cuts things off I think.
I’m 19, but I need my parents permission to do things like that because I don’t have any money … yeah I’m lame I know. But hey my dad is giving me the money!

I never use drafts. Maybe that’s why I update so scarcely. Duh.
Hosting partners sounds cool! Let me in on some details like where the link will go and I’ll create a section for it at Host Bunnies. π

I have never really considered writing drafts and then posting them later…sounds like a good idea…definitely helpful if I can post via my phone!
I can understand how it can be difficult to return all the replies but I am sure you are trying your best π
Liz
@Dipika, It is helpful being able to post from my phone. ^^
However, returning comments from it turned out to be harder than I imagined it would be. π
Aileen
Haha. I’ve considered keeping my website a blog only but I do actually enjoy making things whether people use them or not.
The draft idea is a good time-saver. I do that on my Tumblr account. I have ablog challenge going and I already have it done, just waiting to post. π
I really like writing blogs though. I like just logging on and typing whatever is in ny head. I’ve made rough drafts before but they just don’t feel relevant and I end up scrapping them.
Returning comments can be a pain, but itis worth it I think. π
Vicky
Yeah, I mean I’ll return their comment (if I have anything to say) on my blog, but I will often or not, comment on their blog also. xD I just think the whole “commenting chain” gets boring after a while. o___O
I usually keep up with comments. Most people have forgotten about my site since I’ve been closed for so long, so I haven’t been getting many anyway haha.
Thanks. π
That’s a point; I’ve probably jinxed my goals now, pfft.
Caity
I do that sometimes, too. When I have a lot of time I will make lots of blog posts so when I don’t have time I have lots of posts I can just publish quickly. WordPress is great for that.
Vicky
I’m not a fan of returning comments either. Now that I’ve re-opened, I’m just going to reply on my website if I have anything to say back. Then visit their site and if their blog interests, then I will comment. It’s such a bore though, won’t lie. o__O
Writing drafts is a good idea though. I might need to start doing that.
Good luck returning the rest of the comments though. π
Dot-Com Celebs
sometimes i type a lot of drafts too but never get around to publishing them -__-
Liz
@Dot-Com Celebs,
I find them most useful when I am too busy to update or don’t know what to talk about.
Joy
that’s actually not a bad idea. I may use
Liz
@Joy, The rest of the comment got cut off. π

Oh man! I have a convert! Except that I’ve been a bit too busy to write posts ahead of time for the past month and a half. sigh
