#summer ’11 rambling

I have realized that I forgot how to make WordPress themes – my old one I made (that penguin one) cannot be touched by me. I’m glad I made a copy of it, because otherwise my editing would have caused it to be trash.

Once I learn how to make them again (on my own), I won’t have to use Georgina’s “Sky” theme as a template anymore! ๐Ÿ˜›

My left over FAFSA money[1. I keep referring to it as FAFSA money; it’s my left over Pell Grant money. I don’t have to pay this money back because it is grant money and not a loan.] will be in my possession soon. I will be using it for a new laptop, my cell phone bill ($25/mo., for at least one time – 27 May to 27 June), car insurance and other things mine/my mom’s money was spent on for school last term. I mean, dude. I spent over $50 on the basics of school supplies – #2 mechanical pencils, lead, pens, paper, 2 folders, staples, etc. – of my own money meant for spending… :/

So… That’s fair, no? >.>

My allergies were acting up yesterday. I felt like crap. They’re still  acting up today, but not as much.

I mean, at least I can sit down and breathe – even if it’s slightly, I can breathe. I had pains yesterday on my right side. I took Hydrocodone. I had tears forming in my eyes. I laid down, but I didn’t want to lay down.

When I have a lot to do, I don’t feel like doing anything – but I could do something. When I don’t have a lot to do, I feel like doing anything – but I can’t do anything, because otherwise I’ll start hurting once again. It sucks. And I can’t even remember much of what I did yesterday, or the day before – but that’s not really any different from how I normally am. I just feel so dang stuffy with my stuffy nose and congested coughs and teary eyes.

I didn’t want to attend school for the Summer I term – and my mom brought up how she and Lard doesn’t think it’s a good idea with my [ovarian] cyst pains and whatnot. I nodded. I agreed. I didn’t want to attend Summer I term, remember? Just Summer II. It’s also in the FAFSA term. You see, when you apply for FAFSA, you do it in their terms, which is usually Summer II to Fall or Spring to Summer I. So, this makes it much more possible for me to get a new lappy since I hadn’t told FAFSA I’d attend over the summer (especially since I didn’t plan on doing so)!

Summer II begins 1 July, or sometime around there.

My side is hurting again.

Good luck with theme creating. It’s pretty easy once you get the hang of it ๐Ÿ˜€

I just like you. When I have loads to do I can’t be bothered, but when I don’t have anything to do I want to do something.

Hope you feel better soon and pain will go away hugs

Food fights are fun until you get hit with food then it’s not so fun and it just sucks balls. Especially when you lose something in the middle of it like your cell phone or head phones then you start wishing you went to class instead of the stupid cafeteria. It’s all good now though lol. ๐Ÿ˜›

What is FAFSA?
Good luck in your theme learning. When I get allergies my nose gets stuffed and that’s it…it’s annoying lol.
hugs I hope your pain goes away soon, no one should have to go through that. Love ya. ๐Ÿ™‚

I have no idea why it reverts to default. D: It ticks me off, particularly since I can’t remember how to make WordPress themes anymore either! And I have this compulsive desire for everything to be pretty all the time. D:

Wish I were back at the site, but life’s been a mess for a while now and I’m so addicted to Neopets. I harbor a faint inkling of hope that in a few months, maybe towards the end of the year, my boyfriend and I will both have jobs and we’ll be living together and I will come back to blogging again. I miss talking to people, though it started wearing on me that I always had to read a hundred peoples’ posts and give them unique comments in addition to a reply to the comment that they left me (so… I was lazy and only read the first and last sentence of your post, basically :P).

Thanks for the comment. ๐Ÿ™‚ I almost didn’t find it among all the spam I have!

I know when I returned from my [almost] year hiatus, I was left clueless with coding too! I felt like I had forgotten most of it but after tinkering with the coding a bit, I picked it up as if I never left. I think coding is like riding a bicycle; you never forget. Hopefully you get to learning again! Though there’s nothing wrong with premades, you get a sense of pride and joy when you make a layout entirely by yourself.

I refer to FAFSA as Financial Aid. I also got the Pell Grant. How much did you get? I know I got $5,500 a year or $2,250 per semester. I got back $1,600 this last semester (I would have gotten more but I didn’t attend school in the fall) and spent about half on personal needs (clothes, school supplies, a new netbook) and the rest I put towards summer classes and anything else I may need for the upcoming semester. Don’t you just love free money?

It’s amazing but I know what you mean. I think total since I started school, I spent around $100 on school supplies alone? Half of it was my own money as well. Like wtf.

Sorry about your allergies. I’m just using the leftover money to pay for my summer classes; didn’t realize you had to alert FAFSA? I’m taking it merely because I’m a little bit behind. I might have to take 5 classes this fall instead of 4. Bleh.

Good luck making themes again! I know when I stop making layouts, i feel lost when I try to make one again. I think when I am going to college I am going to apply for fafsa, yet I think they require almost everyone to do it nowadays or they highly recommend it. And my allergies are so bad too. I can hardly breathe and stuff when I wake up. My eyes are all teary and I need a tissue every second. My allergies are bad this year.

I was not trying to insult you or anything so I hope you did not feel that insulted. I think I just write “meanly” I swear I am a nice person ๐Ÿ™‚ lol I did not want people to make it seem that I was calling people selfish or what not. ahh well I edited the blog (a little). I just want peoples opinions on it and I was sharing mine. I am glad you shared yours though. I love hearing opinions.

And I know a lot of sites do not let you win a domain for someone else or at least I think they do. And that is very nice of you giving 30 dollars. I wish I had that money to give for a contest.

and I was not trying to insult Georgina. I love Georgina ๐Ÿ™‚ I am applauding her for having a lot of domains to take care of (including fanlistings)>

Awwww unfortunately you weren’t the first commenter … only 6 minutes behind the first one though! I’m using Georgina’s Lilac, haha it looks nothing like it! I didn’t realize this is the sky theme either, it looks completely customized!

Ohhh wow allergies can get that bad? I had no idea. I’ve only heard of anaphlactic shock and if not as serious, lots of eye watering and sneezing. I hope you feel better. This allergy season has been terrible from what I heard.

Aghh summer courses … makes me feel bad about wasting so much time. Those are usually good though because you don’t have much else to worry about on your plate.

Enthusiast is actually really easy. I learned from Georgina’s tutorials. They’re really detailed and easily to follow. I’m sure you’d be able to think of more than 1 fanlisting to own.

Thanks for the offer. If I am in need to help I’ll keep in mind of who to ask. =D
